Visitor Registration Information

When you register at the Rannoch Documentary Expeditions (Rannoch) Web site, you provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, password, password validation, and a password hint to help you remember your password. This information is collected on the registration form for several reasons including: (i) to identify those individuals who wish to receive information from Rannoch; (ii) to complete adventure, hotel and other travel reservations; (iii) to allow us to contact you for customer service, when necessary; (iv) to customize the content of our Web site to meet your specific needs; and (v) to assist Rannoch in the development of better adventure products. In addition, your e-mail address is collected so that we can send you an e-mail message confirming your new member registration and each booking you make online. As a registered visitor you will also from time to time receive updates from us about special offers, new Rannoch programs, and other noteworthy news items. However, you may always decline to receive such e-mail messages. Please see our Opt-Out policy described below.


Booking Information
In the event you book a Rannoch Documentary Expeditions product or service from our Web site, we will request additional personal and billing information (for example name and address, state of health, age, contact information, credit card information, billing address, etc.). Forms requiring billing information are encrypted. Rannoch needs this information for the booking and fulfillment of the travel and services you request. In addition, we may in the future use this information as a way of offering you, by email or regular mail, products and services tailored to your interests. However, we will not disclose such booking information to third parties, except to our travel partners as required to actually carry out your request for booking and to ensure the successful fulfillment of your travel arrangements, to credit card companies as needed to bill you for the products and services you request, and otherwise as may be required by state, local or federal law.

Cookies
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are placed on your computer's hard drive by many commercial Web sites you visit. Rannoch uses cookies in several ways. We use cookies to allow you to log in without having to type your log-in name each time. Instead, only your password is needed to access the system. We also use cookies to track usage of the "Guest" path and to serve offers that we believe will be of interest to you. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your browser options to block them in the future.

IP Addresses
When you visit our site, some information such as your Internet or IP address, your Internet Service Provider, the site or most recent sites from which you linked and the time and date of your visit may be collected automatically as part of the operation of the site. This information is not linked to your personally identifiable information.

Selling Customer Lists
We do not sell individual customer names or other private profile information to third parties and have no intention of doing so in the future. Occasionally, Rannoch will hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects such as market-research surveys and will provide information to these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality agreement and is to be used solely for completing the specific project.

Opt-Out Policy
At any time, you can unsubscribe to our Rannoch Documentary Expeditions’ newsletter, by sending us an email message with UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject. Otherwise, as a customer or subscriber, you will occasionally receive e-mail updates from us about special offers, new Rannoch services, and other noteworthy news items. We hope you will find these updates interesting and informative. Of course, if you would rather not receive them, please contact us at info@rannoch adventures.com. Rannoch reserves the right to limit subscribership to those who will accept e-mails.

Other Reasons for Disclosure
Rannoch may disclose member information if required to do so by law, court order, as requested by other government or law enforcement authority, or in the good faith belief that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of Rannoch or when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities.

Any material changes in the way Rannoch uses personal information will be described in future versions of this Privacy Statement, which will be made available on this Web site.
